Detailed design of the long-span extradosed bridge over the Mae Klong river in Ratchaburi province. Instead of using the original design short-span truss bridge, which the foundations will be located in the river, the extradosed bridge is alternatively selected to avoid any construction activities in the river due to the existence of several bombs from the World War II in the river bed. The 2 cable planes bridge has a total length of 340 m. with the main span of 160 m. All foundations are designated on each bank of the river. It is subjected for a single track of railway with U-20 load configuration.
