Detailed design of underpass, 16.3 m width, 760 m length, supporting 4 traffic lanes on both directions. Top roof will serve the active southern railway lines and heavy freight train lines. The underpass is part of a land development project for upgrading of the existing Bangsue railway station to be Bangsue Grand Station, which will be a major station hub for Thai railway network.

The underpass design applied the D-Wall method. Due to relatively large width of the designed traffic lanes, tension piles were required under the bottom slab to counteract uplift forces. The construction also utilized precast concrete for roof slab and compression struts.
